Colonel Patrick Miller, 88th Air Base Wing Commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Jason Shaffer, 88th Air Base Wing Command Chief, conclude “Extremism Down Day” and thank the wing for getting involved and having tough conversations, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, March 25, 2021. Lloyd James Austin III, Secretary of Defense (SecDef), signed a memorandum directing a one-day stand-down to address extremism in the ranks.
