1 min read
This month, in honor of the first Cyber Systems major graduates at the #USCGA, our #ArtifactoftheMonth is an Enigma machine. The Enigma machine is a cipher device developed and used in the early to mid-20th century to protect commercial, diplomatic, and military communication and with a lasting legacy, it remains one of the most important and pivotal points in the history of Cryptology.
This year, the #Cyber Systems graduates will enter the fleet to meet the needs of the services cybersecurity strategy of defending cyber space, enabling operations, and protecting infrastructure. This major provides graduates with a strong computing foundation, skills, and technical ability to meet the needs of the #USCG cyber mission.
