Hurricane Preparedness | Coast Guard Foundation

Earlier in 2020, CAPT Ron LaBrec (Ret.), our Regional Director of Philanthropy, met virtually with U.S. Coast Guard members to let them know of our disaster response services available to families.

When natural disasters like hurricanes strike, Coast Guard members are often first responders leaving their own families, and impacted homes and property behind to aid others in distress.

We assess member and family needs through our disaster relief and response program to make sure they quickly get the resources needed to bounce back from the devastation.

Knowing their families are being cared for allows Coast Guard members to focus on serving their neighbors and rebuilding their communities.
