U.S Air Force Capt. Andrew Kimball, KC-10 Extender Pilot, and MSgt (Ret.) Kenneth Pryor, former KC-10 Boom Operator, explain how AMC was able to maximally connect MAF aircraft using tactical data link during Exercise Mobility Guardian 2021 in Alpena and Oscoda-Wurtsmith, Michigan May 21, 2021. This milestone was made possible by Pryor, Kimball and a team of Airmen in the years leading up to MG21. Conducted biennially, Mobility Guardian is the Air Force’s only formal, Total Force, service-level mechanism for assessing and validating capabilities in Rapid Global Mobility missions specified and implied within the 2018 National Defense Strategy.
