Trump suggests using disinfectant ‘injection’ to treat Coronavirus | LBC

Donald Trump suggested that a disinfectant ‘injection’ could be used to treat Coronavirus during Thursday’s White House coronavirus task force briefing.
The suggestion has been criticised by many in the medical community, especially as disinfectants can be poisonous if ingested.
The US President also seemed to propose UV light treatment on patient’s bodies, an idea dismissed by doctor Deborah Birx at the briefing.
The comments come as The White House announced “emerging” research that suggests sunlight, higher temperatures and humidity have a powerful effect in killing the virus on surfaces and in the air.
Separately, Trump also said he was surprised by how ‘incredible’ Boris Johnson sounded on phone.
