USCGA Wins Lockheed Martin’s Ethics in Engineering Case Competition
1 min read
Congratulations to 1/c Jacob Schellman and Ryan Von Brock! These Electrical Engineers represented the Coast Guard at the Lockheed Martin’s Ethics in Engineering Case Competition, earning first place with the U.S. Air Force Academy.
Faced with a (hypothetical) collision of two state-of-the-art satelites, the teams had to make decisions while weighing the ethical, business, and engineering consequences.
Both Schellman and Von Brock agreed that Lockheed Martin and the U.S. Coast Guard share similar core values, and that laid the foundation for their success.
