USS Harry S. Truman Daily Ops In Mediterranean

The aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) conducts daily operations at an undisclosed location in the Mediterranean Sea associated the U.S. Sixth Fleet (SIXTHFLT) area of operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe and Africa.

The Harry S. Truman (HST) is the eighth Nimitz-class aircraft carrier of the United States Navy and named after the 33rd President of the United States, Harry S. Truman. The supercarrier (1,092 feet long, 257 feet wide and 244 feet high) can accommodate approximately 90 aircraft and 6,250 crewmembers. Its homeport is Naval Station Norfolk, Virginia.
